Objective
To provide a comprehensive summary of my qualifications as one of the top
rated ASNA Visual RPG consultants in the country.
Web Enabled/.NET CERTIFIED (AVR.NET
and VB.NET)
I have written many AVR.NET applications for both the WEB and Windows. I
have completed ASNA certification for ALL ASNA products. This includes AVR for
.NET, ASNA Classic and all related products. This includes the creation of
ActiveX controls and DLL's. It also makes me one of the very few trained in
the latest WEB enabling functions provided by ASNA.
Functional Summary
I have been involved with ASNA and Visual RPG since August of 1994 and am
one of the original users. At that time I became the first Value Added
Remarket company (VAR) for Visual RPG, as well as an original Alpha and Beta
test site. I have spent many hours at the ASNA site working with the
developers in extensive test situations. I helped to author the Help
Documentation Examples and have conducted ASNA Seminars as well as
two-day/three day and week long training classes. I also developed an
extensive ON SITE training curriculum which has been used in over 20 companies
with 100% success! I have also assisted ASNA as their User/Client/Developer
voice for the last 11 IBM COMMON conferences plus numerious other IBM tech
conferences.
Several of the systems I have written are in national distribution with
hundreds of users. Also, my experiences
have led me to work in a variety of situations ranging from projects geared
towards a single user to being part of a team of 50 in-house developers and
consultants.
Before beginning my work with ASNA I owned and operated a Retail software
company named Software Management Systems, Inc. The company was sold to
Lawsons Financial Services in 1987 with a staffing level of 65 employees and
installed sites around the world.
I was also instrumental in starting several of IBM’s vendor associations, such
as the MAP and IMAP programs for Industry Specialists. I was also part of the
IBM Customer Development team for the System/38 and AS/400.
My knowledge of Law Enforcement Systems, Court Systems, Distribution
Systems, Furniture Company Systems, Insurance systems, Medical systems, Manufacturing and
Retail systems, School Systems, Craft Fair Software as well as Payroll/Human
Resources allow me to design or help develop applications across the mid-range
and now the PC based business world.
